Kalas Cup Team Success
Fantastic day for our national development squad today at the Kalas Cup Stage race for E123 riders. Supporting this event is important to the team with Kalas being our amazing kit partner.
The race was contested over two stages; a short morning timetrial, followed by a 120km road stage in the afternoon.
The team, consisting of Joe Charley, George Kimber, Tristan Robbins and Bradley Symonds worked hard together to secure the following achievements:
- 1st – team classification
- 1st stage 2 – Tristan Robbins
- 2nd on GC – Tristan Robbins
- 2nd in U21 young rider competition – George Kimber
Winning of the team prize is particularly pleasing given that the riders have only been together for a short amount of time. Riding together as a unit has been a key focus in the past month and this has been rewarded today with everyone sharing in this success; great job team!
The overall winner was Lee Frost of Tri UK; well done Lee.
