Following on from last weekend’s victory in the EMRRL, another team member got their arms aloft in Sunday’s round of the series. After another fantastic team effort, Toby Jarvis was the victor this week with team mate Matt King following him in to take second and completing the one two. Both were supported by Sam Parker who rounded out the top 20. This means that we now hold first, second and third in the individual ranking with James Chapman, Toby Jarvis and Matt King moving up to third and extend our place at the top of the team standings. A fantastic run of races for these guys who have gelled so well as a unit and genuinely support one another race after race.
In other racing this week, Toby took 8th place in the Barnsley 2/3 criterium and Matt King had a very busy week demonstrating his good condition at this point in the season. Results included 7th at Rockingham, 11th at Darley Moor and 20th at Barnsley. Both Toby and Matt are closing in on securing their first category licenses.
Also racing today was Tristan Robbins, from our national team, who took 6th place in the Kibosh E123 event. Tristan bridged to the break of the day however three riders then split off to take the podium places with Max Stedman of Canyon Eisberg eventually taking the victory. Also in the race was James Chapman who recently gained his 1st cat; James finished 15th.
Well done all!
