Delighted to see the progression in our national team as riders find their place in this new environment of elite category racing. This weekend, two of our national squad were in action in races across the country. On Saturday, Bradley Symonds raced aggressively, in impressive domestic company, over a hilly circuit in Lancashire. Bradley is showing he is in good form following another strong winter’s training with coach Paul Bennett and is learning his race craft at this level race by race.

On Sunday, Joe Charley represented the team in the Mark Bell Memorial road race over a gruelling 109 miles. Particularly pleasing is to see Joe racing competitively over this distance and having the condition to be able to contest the finish strongly to take 14th place in the final. Joe was a third category racer this time last year and is growing in confidence race by race. With another couple of riders away on training camp, the squad are preparing consistently well for the Spring Cup races in a couple of weeks starting with Chorley GP.
